Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- The seven bills that the government has taken responsibility yesterday were published today in the Official Journal of Moldova.

The documents concern in particular the amendment of the Contravention Code, the state budget law for 2019, the state social insurance budget law for 2019, the Law on Free Economic Zone Bălţi.

At the same time, the government approved a draft law on declaring public utility for works of national interest in the construction of the Central Customs Terminal and the reserved area of enlargement.

One of the projects provides for the salaries of directors of education institutions and some employees of the Interior Ministry should be increased.

"We had to do it, taking into account the reduced functionality of the parliament now. You have seen that we have looked a little and have come up with some adjustments to the Law on salaries and other important things that we had to do and do not wait until we have another functional parliament,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said.

According to the Moldovan Constitution, the government can assume parliamentary responsibility for a program, a general policy statement or a bill. If a motion of censure is not filed within three days and subsequently voted by a majority of deputies, the draft laws are considered adopted.
