Anticorruption prosecutors raided Ialoveni Police Inspectorate

Chisinau, 26 March /MOLDPRES/- Anticorruption prosecutors, jointly with officers of the Interior Protection and Anti-Corruption Service of the Ministry of Interior, conducted searches at Ialoveni Police Inspectorate. Two patrol agents were detained for 72 hours.
According to the press service of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, the raids took place both in the offices of the patrol inspectors and in their service car. In the car, prosecutors found more money.
INP employees are suspected of passive corruption, and if found guilty they risk a prison sentence of 5 to 10 years and a fine of up to 150 thousand lei.
