Only two pupils eliminated from school – leaving exams 2019 in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ – There were eliminated two candidates from the school – leaving basic exams because of trying to cheat. The last exam took place on 21 June, and it took 470 pupils.  

Interviewed by agency, the head of the Information Service of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Angela Mutruc, stated that a pupil was removed from the exam of the training language and the second candidate tried to cheat at the foreign language exam. Also, it was not reported any attempt of fraud to the non – native pupils.

"The basic session of the BAC exams was in accordance with all rules," said Angela Mutruc.

The Baccalaureate exams started on 04 June and ended on 21 June. It was attended by about 17,000 candidates. There were opened 92 BAC centres for taking the exams.

The exam tests will be reviewed on 04 June – 25 June and the results will be displayed in BAC centres on 26 June. The candidates will have 48 hours to file appeals – on 26 – 27 June. The final results will be announced on 04 July after examining appeals. The additional BAC session will be held on 15 – 22 July.
