Moldova's National Social Insurance House has new director general

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - Elena Tibirna has been appointed as director general of the National Social Insurances House (CNAS). The cabinet took a decision to this effect at a today’s meeting.

At the cabinet meeting, Government’s Secretary General Andrei Spinu said that Elena Tibirna had been working at CNAS since 2001. Presently, she holds the position of deputy head of the CNAS audit department. Elena Tibirna is master of management and is bachelor of economics.

The office of CNAS director general remained vacant in late last June, after the government had dismissed Valentina Buliga.

Also today, the cabinet ruled to appoint Dumitru Rusu as state secretary at the Justice Ministry. Rusu is bachelor of laws and has the title of master of criminal law. Stating from 2013, Dumitru Rusu has been involved in a string of projects on combating discrimination, offences motivated by hatred and ensuring equality. At present, Dumitru Rusu is member of the council for the prevention of torture and programme manager at the Moldovan Institute for Human Rights.
