Chisinau Municipal Council to hold foundation meeting on 15 November

Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/ – The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) will meet, on Friday, 15 November, in its meeting of constitution. The decision has been taken, on Tuesday, 12 November, by the Central Election Commission (CEC).

According to the results of general local elections (ALG), the most representatives of CMC – 22 in number – will be held the Socialists' party of Moldova (PSRM). They will be followed by block ACUM, which obtained 19 adviser mandates. Three councilors will be from the Liberals' party (PL), and the Democrats' party of Moldova (PDM) and the Shor party will have 02 representatives in CMC. The National Unity party (PUN) will have only one counselor, the New Force Movement (MFN) and the Communists' party of Moldova (PCRM).

The CEC has also decided today that on 15 November, it will be held the meetings of district councils of Basarabeasca, Falesti and Sangerei. The first meeting of district councilors from Rezina, elected following the general local election, will be held on Monday, 18 November.
