Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/- Nine students from the Alecu Russo State University of Balti (USARB) presented their most important achievements following the practice, promoted at different institutions and companies in the region. The event was held late last week in Balti within the project A new impetus for business development in the Northern Development Region of the Republic of Moldova, funded by the Czech Development Agency.

According to Maria Prisacari, department head of the Regional Development Agency (ADR) North, "it is very important to motivate students who apply knowledge in practice to various companies, where they have the opportunity to get involved in team activities".

Victoria Guzun, project manager under the People in Need Moldova, said "usually all entrepreneurs say they want young people in their companies, but when university graduates come to work, they find that employers need experienced people. "." For this reason, student practice is of great importance for the subsequent dialogue between young people and entrepreneurs ", she said.

Carolina Tcaci, head of USARB's Department of Economic Sciences, noted the openness of the companies to the nine students who promoted the practice. “It is believed that student practice is often a formality. In this case we see that it is not so. The students who promoted the practice with the support of this project funded by the Czech Agency for Development have shown good results, being motivated to gain experience in successful companies ”, she said.

The nine practitioners benefited from financial support of the project worth 3,000 lei for each student. They promoted the practice in some IT companies, tourism, production, service delivery, as well as some commercial banks.

The aforementioned project, funded by the Czech Development Agency, is implemented during 2017-2019, by ADR Nord in partnership with People in Need Moldova and Pro Regional Cooperation.
