Moldovan president starts new fundraising campaign

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon, on Children’s Day, invited family Ciornenco from Chisinau to the Presidency. The family brings up four children without mother. The children’s mother, Marina Ciornenco, died of an incurable disease at the age of 39 in early 2019, the presidential press service has reported.

Vladimir Ciornenco, a widower, daily works to be able to ensure a future to his four children. Because the fact that the family does not have its own dwelling, one child lives at the grandparents on behalf of the father and the father and two children – at the grandparents on behalf of the mother. The family’s greatest wish is to have their own dwelling and live together.     

On the occasion of this significant day for children, the Moldovan president ruled to bring a bit of happiness and hope to the Ciornenco family. Thus, Igor Dodon said that he was launching a fundraising campaign for purchasing a dwelling. Also, the head of state gave the children books and toys. The president conveyed them sincere congratulations on Children’s Day, wishing them health and more smiles.
