Chisinau city hall services to be convened twice week

Chisinau, 9 June /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban decided to convene a meeting of municipal officials twice a week.

Ceban said at today's meeting of the services of the Chisinau city hall that the existing situation requires the convening of two meetings during the week, Monday and Friday. "On Monday we will analyze current issues and on Friday reports on execution of the instructions will be presented", he said.

At the same time, he called on city residents to comply with COVID-19 infection prevention measures and avoid crowded public places and urged parents not to let their children play on the playgrounds. "The risk of infection has not passed, the number of coronavirus patients registered in Chisinau is increasing," he said.

In this context, the mayor said he has decided to revoke the decision to authorize the summer street trade.
