Electors can ask for certificate of right to vote in Moldova till 14 November

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) informs voters that they can ask for certificate of right to vote for the presidential polls’ runoff, due on 15 November 2020.

Under the electoral legislation, the people who on the voting day will not be in the settlement where they have their valid residence can ask for a certificate of right to vote from the electoral bureau of the polling station which corresponds to the valid residence. This certificate will allow them voting at any other polling station on the territory of Moldova, on an additional electoral list.

The certificate of right to vote is issued upon the presentation of the identity card, which shows the residence in the area of the concerned polling station.
