Ministers delegated by Democratic Party dismissed

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- Ministers delegated by the Democratic Party to the government have been fired. Prime Minister Ion Chicu made the statement today. He said he had made a request to the presidency, which was accepted.
During a briefing, he noted that today other candidacies would be submitted for the four ministries led by the PDM representatives. Thus, ministers will soon be appointed at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Defense and the Office of Reintegration Policies.
The decision was made after late last week, the PDM leadership announced it will withdraw from the government after the election of a new president.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Oleg Țulea, who was recently appointed ambassador to Hungary would be replaced today.
