10 days left until deadline for paying wealth tax for 2020

Chisinau, 18 December /MOLDRES/- The State Tax Service (SFS) reminds that, this year, the deadline for paying wealth tax is 28 December 2020, given that 25 December is a holiday.

Taxpayers who were identified on 1 November 2020 as subjects of wealth tax, were informed through the payment notices about the amount of wealth tax to be paid.

The State Tax Service urges taxpayers to pay the amount of wealth tax to the budget by 28 December 2020. Wealth tax can also be paid online, through the government electronic payment service Mpay. "If the wealth tax is not paid by 28 December 2020, for each day of delay will be applied the delay increase (penalty) amounting to 0.0329% per day," says SFS.
