Chisinau municipal council approves grant agreement worth 3.3 million euros

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau Municipal Council approved a grant agreement worth 3.3 million euros offered by the European Union for the implementation of MOVE IT like Lublin project.

The project aims at developing the public transport system in Chisinau according to the model of organizing public transport in Lublin (Poland), with an eligible budget for activities of 3.5 million euros, which also includes the co-financing part of the municipality of 5%.

Thus, the initiative will be implemented by Chisinau city hall in collaboration with Lublin city hall, as a partner, selected in accordance with the requirements of the Implementation Guide of the European Commission funding program.

The project will be implemented in 2021-2023, within the funding program Partnerships for sustainable cities in the Southern and Eastern Neighborhood.
