Construction of access road to Monastery in Călărășeuca, Ocnița resumed

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/- In Călărășeuca village, Ocnița district, the construction works of the access road to the Monastery were resumed. They are carried out under a regional development project implemented by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR) from the sources of the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR).

Specialists of ADR Nord paid a monitoring visit yesterday on the site in Călărășeuca. Following the evaluation, it was found that the works are carried out according to the schedule.

The works within the project started in November 2020. The project sets out asphalting of a section of road with a length of about five kilometers. By the end of last year, the economic operator had paved a one-kilometer stretch of road. At the same time, two bridges will be renovated, a rest station, a bathroom will be built and a car park will be arranged.

The project is estimated at 22.45 million lei, from FNDR sources.

So far, 1.51 million lei has been used within the project. By late 2021, 20.94 million lei will be used, earmarked by the decision of the National Council for Coordination of Regional Development.
