Slovakia remains reliable supporter of Moldova in European integration - president says

Chisinau, 5 March /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu met today with Ambassador of Slovakia Dušan Dacho. They approached current issues on the bilateral agenda and opportunities to boost Moldovan-Slovak relations, the presidential press service has reported.

"We discussed the pandemic and political crisis in the Republic of Moldova, as well as importance of regional stability. Dacho assured me that Slovakia will remain a reliable supporter of our country in European integration", Maia Sandu said.

The head of state thanked for the help Slovakia has provided to Moldova over the years in political, economic and various social projects. "We also appreciated the support provided since the beginning of the pandemic for our health system. These are gestures of solidarity that will bring our countries even closer ", Maia Sandu said.
