Education process in primary classes to be resumed with pupils' presence in schools

Chisinau, 15 March /MOLDPRES/- Educational process for the primary classes in Chisinau will be resumed with the presence of pupils in schools.

Acting head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports Andrei Pavaloi said at today's online meeting of the municipal services "tomorrow, 16 March the educational process for primary classes will be resumed with the presence of pupils in schools".

"Statistics show a decrease in the infection rate among children, this allows the resumption of education of first / fourth grade pupils in compliance with the rules for preventing coronavirus infection," said Pavaloi.

According to the official, the number of new cases of illness in municipal educational institutions is decreasing, 96 cases were recorded compared to 121 registered two weeks ago. At the same time, Pavaloi said that on 11 March "only seven children with coronavirus were recorded in kindergartens, with zero new cases."
