Moldovan interior ministry staff to be involved in activities to prevent spread of COVID-19

Chisinau, 2 April /MOLDPRES/- Staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is 100% mobilized to be involved in activities to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic. Minister of Internal Affairs Pavel Voicu made the statement at an operative meeting with heads of the General Inspectorates.

"Staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to be fully mobilized for the activities to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic, without affecting the basic operational activities of the ministry," said Voicu.

He noted that special attention must be paid to checking at night compliance with restrictions in restaurants, nightclubs and other locations.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Republic of Moldova, over 16 thousand employees of the Ministry of Interior have taken daily measures to combat, prevent and inform citizens about the disease and the spread of COVID-19.
