According to MADRM, 3,502 applications for humanitarian aid were evaluated, (16 March -5 April) from 3,430 unique agricultural producers. "Most applications for humanitarian aid were submitted by agricultural producers : Cahul - 232 applications, Comrat - 177 applications, Causeni - 176 applications, Orhei - 164 applications, Stefan-Voda - 152 applications," the institution said.
So far, AIPA has examined about 98 percent of all applications received, or, due to non-compliance with eligibility criteria, seven applications have been rejected.
Preliminary data show that after applying the categorization coefficient of agricultural producers, the eligible land area is about 325 thousand ha. The average quantitative amount per hectare of diesel would be about 18.46 liters.
The amount of aid per hectare of arable land affected shall be calculated on the basis of the total amount of diesel available, in relation to the total eligible area.
