Three special intervention vehicles and four pumps worked on the spot,’’ the Inspectorate said.

Rescuers’ intervention was needed also in households from the districts of Telenesti, Floresti, Ungheni and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia. Also, the precipitation caused damages in the districts of Ocnita, Soroca, Ungheni, Donduseni, Criuleni, Leova, Sangerei and the Gagauz autonomy, where more hectares of agricultural crops were hit.
