Moldovan capital's city hall to purchase 100 new buses

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will sign a contract on the procurement of 100 ISUZU buses on 1 July.

According to the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, the city hall has reached ‘’all clarifications’’ with the ISUZU firm and on 1 July will sign the contract on the delivery of those 100 vehicles for the Chisinau Urban Park of Buses.

Those 58 buses with distance covered, bought in the last spring, are not part of this contract. ‘’I saw in public space more erroneous information, according to which those 58 buses with distance covered are purchased at the expense of the 100 ones. It’s not true,’’ the Chisinau mayor noted.

Ceban stressed that, till late 2021, 158 buses would enter the Chisinau Urban Park of Buses, of which 58 ones with distance covered and 100 ISUZU ones would be new.

The official said that more details would be provided at the ceremony on the signing of the contract on delivery.
