Moldovan citizens can travel to Greece, if having vaccination certificate or negative test for COVID-19

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - Moldovan citizens can travel to Greece, including on tourist purposes, based on the vaccination certificate or the negative molecular test for COVID-19, got not earlier than by 72 hours before the travel. The Embassy of Moldova in Greece has made statements to this effect.  

According to the Embassy, Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) on 1 July published a provision seeing that Moldovan citizens can travel to Greece, including on tourist purposes, based on the vaccination certificate or the negative molecular test for COVID-19,  got not earlier than by 72 hours before the voyage.  

The cancellation of restrictions is valid till the next publication in the Official Journal of Greece, on 8 July 2021.

Also on 1 July, the European Union updated the list of third countries, whose residents should not be affected by the temporary restrictions applied in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic at the external borders of EU as regards the non-essential travels. Moldova was included in this list.
