Participants in Chernobyl accident relief works, their children to receive tickets for sanatorums

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - Participants in the Chernobyl accident relief works and their children have right to be annually provided, in turn, with free of charge tickets at sanatoriums and spas from Moldova, as well as at sanatoriums from Ukraine.

If it is impossible to buy and provide the treatment ticket according to the profile of the sanatorium or spa recommended or if there are medical contraindications as to the treatment in sanatoriums and spas, people have right to money compensation worth the average cost of one ticket, starting from the second quarter of the 2021 year.

The average cost of one ticket for adults in 2021 is 7, 115 lei; for children aged between 14 to 18 years – 6, 572 lei; for children aged between 7 to 14 years – 5, 437 lei and for children with ages between 4 to 7 years – 3,942 lei.
