16:48 | 23.07.2021 Category: Regional

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - The North Regional Development Agency  (ADR Nord), in cooperation with the team Redescoperă Moldova (Rediscover Moldova) for the first time ever launched a campaign for the promotion of more tourist destinations from the North Regional Development Region, through sports and galleries of photos distributed in the online environment. Subsequently, the most representative photos will be found in publications.

These promotion activities are carried out within the project, Ecological agriculture as promoter for development of the tourist destination through the branding of local products. It is financed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova, with the financial support of Slovakia’s Ministry of Foreign     and European Affairs. The programme is implemented by ADR Nord and the Pro4CE Slovakian company, specialized in providing consultancy in the fields of agriculture, tourism and investments in the central Europe, in partnership with Moldova’s Investment Agency and the RECO-Partener Association.

So far, more activities have been carried out within the project, meant to identify and promote local (organic) farming products, which can become ‘’local trade marks’’ for the region as regards the development of the tourist destination. In this respect, in June and July 2021, Slovakian specialists of Pro4CE visited, along with specialists of ADR Nord, more locations from the Soroca, Drochia, Sangerei and Edinet districts, where small businesses are developed in the field of production and sale of dry fruits, vegetables, berries, as well as local businesses in apiculture and tourism.
