Chisinau, 6 August /MOLDPRES/-  Prime Minister-designate Natalia Gavriliță described as “professional and integral” the government team with which she presented before the deputies today in order to ask for a vote of confidence in the Parliament. Gavriliță argued for the reorganization of the nine existing entities into 13 ministries by the fact that the fields of activity are too wide and require a professional approach.

The official said that the formula for reorganizing the executive during Filip government is no longer appropriate. In the conditions of the pandemic, Gavriliță claims, it was necessary to divide the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection into two distinct entities because the responsibilities are far too great for a single minister.

"Each minister will come with a list of priorities, with the list of necessary staff and later we will operate a reorganization within the ministry. At first, we will not lay off staff, except for political positions, but later, there could be more secretaries of state. However, the general number of employees per field will not increase, because we do not want to increase expenditures ", said Natalia Gavriliță.

In the same context, Gavriliță voiced confidence that the team she chose is incorruptible and professional and will succeed in implementing the assumed governance program.

"I trust this team. One of the criteria on which the selection was made is integrity. Obviously, we talked about the person's experience. They are the most suitable people for these positions, they are people who have experience in the public domain and they are respected people in their fields of activity ”, Gavriliță pointed out.
