Presidency organized first stage of competition to select candidate of CSP

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/- Yesterday, the presidency organized the first stage of the competition for selecting candidate for the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) among the civil society, appointed by the head of state.

Following the examination of the submitted files, the Commission for organizing the contest selected four candidates (Svetlana Balmuș, Ceslav Panico, Irina Pușcașu-Mamalîga, Alexandr Trutnev) who will be invited to the second stage of the contest.

The interview will take place on September 22 this year and aims to test the level of knowledge of the field and the aspects regarding the exercise of functional attributions as a member of the CSP.

The competition is conducted in accordance with the Law on Prosecutor's Office and Regulation on organization and conduct of competition for selecting the candidate for the position of member of the CSP among civil society, appointed by the president approved by 2017 decree.
