Moldova interested in Slovenia's experience in process of European integration's advancement

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has discussed with Slovenian Foreign Affairs Minister Anže Logar, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.     

The press bureau of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry informed that the officials had reviewed subjects on the bilateral agenda and set immediate goals on the European integration agenda, given that Slovenia presently holds the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union.   

„I reiterated Moldova’s interest in taking over Slovenia experience in the process of advancement of the European integration, including through organizing exchanging of good practices through the Centre for European Perspective from Slovenia. At the same time, I agreed on the signing of an agreement with the Diplomatic Academy from Ljubljana, advancement of discussions for the liberalization of the roaming prices and negotiation of an agreement on the conversion of driver’s licences,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu said.   

The two diplomacy heads exchanged opinions on subjects of security, regional cooperation within international structures, which gave possibility to synchronize the positions of both states’ diplomacies on up-to-date topics.
