Vaccination of children over 12 years likely to begin soon

Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/- Vaccination of teenagers over 12 years could begin soon. Health Minister Ala Nemerenco made the statement today.

All data and information related to this process will be sent to the vaccination centers. "Parents who have the personal initiative to immunize their children can go to all vaccination centers where they will sign documents," said Ala Nemerenco.

According to the minister, the parents will have to sign an agreement stating that vaccination is their own decision. The official assured that there are currently sufficient stocks of Pfizer serum in the country, which can be used to vaccinate minors.

Yesterday, the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices announced it agreed vaccination of children from 12 years with Pfizer.
