Victor Chirilă - new Ambassador of Moldova to Romania

Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/- The decree on appointment of Victor Chirilă as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Romania was published in the Official Journal on Friday and entered into force.

According to the document, under Art. 86 (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and of Art. 10 (6) of the Law on Diplomatic Service, the President of the Republic of Moldova decrees: Victor Chirilă is appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Romania.

This decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.

Victor Chirilă has a master's degree in European politics and a bachelor's degree in history. From December 2020 until now he holds the position of Executive Director of the Association for Foreign Policy. In December 2016 -December 2019 he was president of the Association. He also served as an advisor at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the United States of America.
