Hundreds of inventions to be exhibited at INFOINVENT International Specialized Exhibition

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/- Over four hundred inventions from several countries will be presented at the International Specialized Exhibition (EIS) INFOINVENT, the 17th edition, due on November 17-20 online.

The event is organized by the State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, the National Agency for Research and Development and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.

"EIS INFOINVENT is a forum for intellectual property, creativity and innovation. The purpose of the event is to support and promote research and innovation, attract investment in innovation and technology transfer, joint projects on capitalization and implementation of human creativity in the national economy, and the development of international technical and scientific cooperation," AGEPI director general Eugeniu Rusu said.

He noted “the works presented at EIS INFOINVENT will be distributed according to the following compartments: Inventions and plant varieties, industrial design; Research and innovation projects; The creation of young people; Innovative products and services; Creative industries. The exhibits presented will be judged and awarded.

According to the official, the EIS INFOINVENT program of events will include an International Innovation Conference and other interactive events to promote the importance and value of intellectual property and innovation for the country's economic development and increase the competitiveness of domestic products and services in the domestic and foreign market.

The State Agency for Intellectual Property urged inventors and researchers in the Republic of Moldova to participate in specialized exhibitions and to use this tool to promote their own innovative projects. EIS INFOINVENT takes place every two years, and this year's edition will bring together participants from Romania, Australia, Croatia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Korea etc.
