Candidates for position of CSP member can apply before 20 December

Chisinau, Dec. 14 / MOLDPRES /- Deadline for submitting the files of candidates for the position of member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) has been extended until December 20. The decision to extend the deadline was taken at today's meeting of the parliamentary committee on rules and immunities.

According to the rules of the competition, the candidate for the position of member of the CSP must hold the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova and have at least three years of experience in the field of law and a well-known activity in the field of jurisprudence.

The participation file must contain a curriculum vitae; a letter of motivation; proof of Moldovan citizenship; copy of diploma / study license; documents confirming the experience in the field of law of at least 3 years; criminal record; a declaration on his own responsibility that he is not prohibited from holding a public office or of public dignity; consent to the processing of personal data and a handwritten declaration of assets and personal interests.

The competition for the selection of the candidate for the position of member of the CSP from the Parliament takes place in two stages: the submission and admissibility of the files and the interview. The candidate who obtains the highest score will be presented to the Legislature for appointment as a member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors.
