Chisinau city hall allocated funds for material endowment of educational institutions

Chisinau, Dec. 30 / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau city hall has allocated more than 10 million lei for the necessary material endowment of all educational institutions in the capital.

Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici announced that 10 million lei have been provided in the municipality's budget for expenses for teaching materials needed by municipal educational institutions. From these financial resources, the cabinets will be equipped with illustrative teaching materials specific to school subjects, laboratory equipment will be purchased for experiments, equipment will be purchased to develop the individual skills of students specific to school subjects (music education, art education, technology).

Financing and development of the material base of the educational institutions will contribute to ensuring the adequate conditions of activity for the teaching and scientific staff. "The modernization of school offices and their equipment will improve learning conditions in schools in Chisinau, including increasing the efficiency of the education system by expanding and diversifying the educational services offered by information technologies," the official said.

The beneficiaries of the educational resources are 83,677 pupils from 119 public primary and secondary education institutions and 6,261 teachers.
