Deputy PM has meeting with Charge d'affaires of Embassy of State of Qatar in Moldova

Chisinau, 3 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today held discussions with Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Moldova Hamad Rashid Al-Athba. The Qatari official congratulated Serebrian on the taking over of the mandate of chief negotiator on behalf of Chisinau in the Transnistrian settlement process, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

At the meeting, the sides reviewed the principal developments in various sectors of common interest and opportunities of boosting the bilateral cooperation on more promising dimensions. The officials highlighted the investment interest of the State of Qatar in Moldova.

Also, the deputy PM informed about aspects related to Transnistrian file. Serebrian emphasized Chisinau’s openness for potential initiatives meant to contribute to the well-being of the citizens from both banks of Dniester.
