Moldova's Border Police launches campaign, A Doctor for You

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - A campaign titled, A Doctor for You, was launched at the Border Police today.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the press officer of the Border Police, Raisa Novitchi, said the initiative was meant to make more responsible the institution’s employees and their family members as to their own health.

‘’The campaign was launched for the first time ever. A string of medical examinations are instructed, such as: biochemical analysis of blood, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, spirometry, as well as consultations with the family physician, ophthalmologist, neurologist. At the same time, the issuance of medicines according to prescriptions from the drug store of the Border Police is possible too,’’ Novitchi noted.

The first to benefit from medical services within this programme are employees with special status and civilians of the Border Police from eastern Moldova, their families, as well as veterans of the border institutions. The campaign will continue also in the regional departments North, South, West and Centre.
