EU-supported project completed in Falesti

Chisinau, June 14 / MOLDPRES /- North Regional Development Agency (ADR) sent yesterday to Falesti city hall the set of documents regarding the investment cost of goods and services purchased from European Union sources in a project to improve water supply services in Falesti, implemented by the Agency in 2020-2022.

The event took place inside ADR Nord, and the documents were signed by director of the Agency Maria Prisacari and Falesti mayor Alexandr Severin.

The total value of the project is 35.88 million lei (about 1.8 million euros), of which 32.57 million lei - granted by the EU, and 3.31 million lei - local contribution.

"Thus, following the realization of the project, almost 17 thousand inhabitants of the city of Falesti currently benefit from modernized drinking water supply services", indicates ADR Nord.

The investment measure Improving water supply services in Falesti city was funded by the European Union and implemented by ADR Nord and the project Modernization of Local Public Services in Moldova (MSPL). The MSPL project is funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Agency for International Cooperation of Germany (GIZ) Moldova in partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova.
