Project for reconstruction of water disinfection point in Ialoveni completed

Chisinau, June 14 / MOLDPRES /- The Regional Development Agency (ADR) Center yesterday submitted to the Ialoveni city hall the project documentation for the reconstruction of the drinking water disinfection point at the local drinking water pumping installation.

According to ADR Center, thus, the local authorities aim to identify financial sources for the realization of this project, which will solve the main problem of the city of Ialoveni related to the excessive chlorination of drinking water. "The water delivered to consumers will have a constant concentration of chlorine remittent in the water. The investment envisages the installation of a modern hypochlorite production and dosing installation ", the institution indicates.

The technical project was carried out within the Moldovan-Slovak program Drinking water in Ialoveni: improving the quality of life in Ialoveni through improved access to drinking water and awareness of water management.

It was carried out on 1 October 2020 - 31 May 2022, by the Regional Development Agency (ADR) Senec-Pezinok, Slovakia, in partnership with ADR Center and Ialoveni city hall. The project was financially supported by Slovak Aid and co-financed by the Senec-Pezinok Regional Development Agency.
