Several MPs attend PACE summer session

Chisinau, June 20 / MOLDPRES /- The delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova participates in the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, held on 20-24 June in Strasbourg.
According to the parliament's press service, the delegation includes head of the national delegation to PACE, deputy head of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission Ion Groza, as well as deputy speakers Mihail Popșoi and Vlad Batrîncea.
The agenda of the PACE session includes debates on a number of topical issues, including the humanitarian consequences of the war in Ukraine and the cases reported by political prisoners in the Russian Federation. There will also be a high-level panel, followed by an interactive debate on Supporting Democratic Security in Europe. Parliamentarians will also discuss the control of online communication, how to prevent and combat anti-Semitism in Europe and vaccination that helps prevent disease.
