Moldovan deputy PM meets researchers of Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today had a working meeting with researchers of the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael: Bob Deen and Wouter Zweers, on a fact-collecting visit tom Moldova. The Dutch researchers were accompanied by Charge d’affaires of the Netherlands Floris van Eijk and the executive director of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms, Iulian Groza, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The object of the discussion was the regional security situation, in the context of the risks triggered by the war in Ukraine, the measures undertaken by the national authorities, in order to maintain a peaceful and stable situation, to attenuate the risks and vulnerabilities found out, activities of support for people hit by the present crises, including as to the Ukrainian refugees who are temporarily accommodated in Moldova.
The interlocutors also tackled aspects dealing with the Transnistrian settlement process, the role and contribution of the international actors in this process, the impact of the projects on the promotion of the confidence building measures and the deepening of Moldova’s European integration. The sides also evoked possibility to develop the cooperation on projects regarding the strengthening of the institutional capacities of the Reintegration Policies Bureau.
