First Business HUB opened in Tiraspol with EU's support

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The first centre of support and development of entrepreneurship was opened with the European Union’s support today. To launch it, the European Union provided 200,000 euros within the Confidence Building Measures Programme, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Moldova.   

The Business HUB will provide young entrepreneurs access to information, consultancy and training. Twelve out of those 16 places provided to residents are already rented or, in this way, entrepreneurs can work for fulfilling their own ideas.

„We believe that the business ideas, startups and the entrepreneurial spirit are the key factors which will develop and extend at the Business Hub opened in Tiraspol. The Business HUB will help the creative and technological community make progress and flourish. The co-working rooms will facilitate the connections between entrepreneurs, business support organizations, academic environment and consumers. Certainly, the good work of the Centre will consolidate both the cooperation and the confidence of the sides interested from both banks of Dniester,’’ European Union Ambassador to Moldova Jānis Mažeiks said.    

The new Business HUB set up in Tiraspol has not only offices and working rooms for residents, but also a conference hall, other infrastructure elements needed for young entrepreneurs. The launch of the Business HUB will contribute to the region’s economic development, through the training of young professionals, putting at their disposal new competences and professions of the future.
