Moldovan Border Police vehicles to have blue, white colours

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved the change of annexes to the regulation on the general requirements as to the equipment of the vehicles with priority regime of movement and the special ones. This will allow the Border Police cars to have both the blue and white colours.   

So far, the Border Police has been obliged to paint its vehicles inclusively in blue colour.   

„At the same time, the Border Police manages, waiting for use, over 100 vehicles of white colour; most them were got from donations or purchased from foreign financing and their re-painting implies logistic effort and additional spending, as it is not opportune,’’ the Interior Ministry (MAI) said.   

Given that the international automobiles’ market shows that the transport means of the white colour are more accessible in terms of price, the filling of the list of basic colours for the vehicles of the General Inspectorate of Border Police, through giving possibility to use both the blue and the white colour, represents a cost-efficient solution for future, the quoted source added.
