Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with Polish delegation

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with a Polish delegation, led by the state secretary for economic cooperation and development at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Poland, Paweł Jabłoński, and the special representative of the Polish prime minister for supporting reforms in Moldova, Adam Eberhardt, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
„I referred to the importance of the implementation of the priorities on the bilateral agenda and development of the Moldovan-Polish partnership in the fields of common interest, such as the energy security, economic diplomacy, defence sector, institutional capacity through providing of scholarships for the training of young diplomats,’’ Nicu Popescu said.
For his part, Paweł Jabłoński reiterated the Polish government’s willingness to provide the needed help and assistance to Moldova, to overcome the present crises and consolidate the country’s institutional capacities.
