Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today conveyed a message on the occasion of the Constitution Day, the presidential press service has reported.

„We celebrate Moldova’s Constitution Day today. Twenty eight years have passed since the adoption of the country’s supreme law, which regulates our public life and the existence of each of us individually, which ensures our public balance in a rule of law state, in a country pf individual of freedoms, equity and content,’’ the message reads.

At the same time, the Moldovan president also emphasized other important aspects of the Constitution Day.

„Our Constitution unites the people around a single common goal: the happy life of the citizens in a prosperous country, a sovereign, unitary and indivisible state, in which the justice is functional, and the Man is above everything. The citizens’ rights and obligations always remind us about the fact that we are members of a collectivity, that we must respect each other and that everybody, with no exception, must observe the rules which we have established together. Despite the difficulties, I invite you to know the Constitution, to appreciate the opportunity to be free and equal before the law. This is our social contract, is the shaking of hand which brings us goodwill and good understanding in community,’’ Maia Sandu said.
