Chisinau, Aug. 17 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met yesterday with several business agents, local and international residents of the Balti Free Economic Zone. During the discussion, the problems faced by investors in our country and the solutions that would help us improve the business environment were addressed, the presidential press service has reported.

"About 11 thousand employees from Moldova work at these companies - people who have a job at home, in good conditions and with opportunities for professional training. I thanked the entrepreneurs for investing in Moldova and, above all, for staying in our country, despite the difficulties caused by the war", said Maia Sandu.

At the same time, the head of state mentioned that the experience of the companies resident in the Bălți ZEL shows us that Moldova has a good business potential.

"Their example can encourage new investments, which will create new jobs. We will continue to put order in the institutions, so that they are correct in their relationship with business. I mentioned, in the context, the justice reform, increasing the quality and relevance of education, ensuring fair competition. That's how, step by step, we will build a strong and inclusive economy and a prosperous country", said Maia Sandu.
