New positions to be set up in state institutions

Chisinau, 8 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Parliament at today's extraordinary meeting approved in the second reading amendments to several laws aimed at strengthening the public authorities' capacities on accession to the European Union.

Thus, it is proposed to create the Cabinet of the Secretary General of the Government in order to exercise operatively the duties and attributions of the Secretary General of the Government. Another goal of the project is to strengthen the relations between the Cabinet and Parliament.

The position of deputy secretary general of the ministry and secretary of state will be set up with the publication of the new law in the Official Journal of Moldova, and the cabinet of the secretary general of the Government - on 1 January 2023.

Also, deputy speaker Mihai Popșoi announced that the meetings of the autumn session of the Legislature will start next week.
