People with no work experience can benefit from professional internship

Chisinau, 9 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- People without work experience can benefit from a professional internship. They can contact the subdivisions of the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) to be guided in the training process.

The head of the Call and Communication Center of ANOFM, Elena Coban, said that the unemployed without seniority in their profession can benefit from a professional internship lasting up to four months, depending on the job. During this period, the person will acquire the practical skills. "The professional internship program was launched in 2019. Since then, 418 people have been guided through the training process. The professional internship is carried out in public or private units, which have informed the territorial subdivisions of ANOFM about the availability to participate in the program," said Coban.

At the same time, the unemployed who completes the professional internship can benefit from: a non-taxable monthly scholarship in the amount of 15% of the average monthly salary in the economy for the previous year, compensation for accommodation expenses in the proportion of 20% of the average monthly salary in the economy for the previous year and coverage of expenses of transport, in case of directing the unemployed person to vocational training courses in a different locality than the one in which he is domiciled.

According to ANOFM, at the beginning of this year, 17,572 unemployed people were registered at the agency's subdivisions, currently their number is 11,763 people.
