Several public institutions to be reconnected to centralized thermal energy supply system

Chisinau, 12 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Termoelectrica joint-stock company ​​announced today that it is under finalizing the procedures for reconnecting 12 public institutions to the centralized thermal energy supply system, by signing contracts for the provision of heating services. Among them are the buildings of the Parliament, the Presidency, the Central Electoral Commission, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

According to Termoelectrica, the action comes in the context of ensuring the energy security of the state, by reducing the consumption of natural gas at the country level and increasing the use of alternative energy resources.

"The complex of buildings of the public institutions have all the thermotechnical equipment necessary for the consumption of thermal energy within the Centralized Thermal Energy Supply System (SACET). Thus, the buildings are provided with modern and automated individual thermal points, with remote control and the possibility of automatic temperature regulation according to the set and desired parameters, including according to the outside air temperature, which ensures a high degree of efficiency energy", a press release of the company reads.

The necessary works on the reconnection of the institutions to SACET were executed within the Project to improve the efficiency of the SACET, Package: Reconnection of public institutions to SACET Chisinau. It involved the installation of Individual Thermal Points and the reconstruction of the related thermal networks for the reconnection of 44 public institutions to SACET.
