Guide published for farmers practicing ecological agricultural production

Chisinau, 13 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- A pocket guide entitled Ecological practices in plant protection for producers in organic agriculture was published by the Public Association - Moldova Organic Value Chain Alliance (MOVCA) in collaboration with the Education for Development Association, announced yesterday organization.

The guide is meant for farmers practicing ecological agricultural production and focuses on the application of phytosanitary products for the protection of plants grown in the field and on protected land.

The work includes information on weed management and control, plant pests and diseases, and includes a list of plant protection products used in organic farming. The electronic version of the guide can be found on www.movca.md

The guide will be provided free of charge to farmers practicing organic farming.

It was carried out under the InfOrganic Moldova 2020-2022 project, implemented by Education for Development Association, with the financial support of the Liechtenstein Development Services Foundation.
