About 550 children from Ukraine admitted to secondary education institutions from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ - About 550 children refugees from Ukraine have been admitted to 41 secondary education institutions from Chisinau.
According to the municipal authorities, 152 children from Ukraine have status of schooled pupils and 394 have status of unattached students. At the same time, another 198 children refugees were admitted to pre-school institutions.
Also, more refugees from Ukraine were employed at ten education institutions from Chisinau.
According to the Interior Ministry, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 554,812 Ukrainian citizens have entered Moldova, of whom 76,034 remained in the country. As many as 9,287 applications on asylum were submitted to the Migration and Asylum Bureau on this period.
