Moldovan peacekeepers to be trained by North Carolina National Guard soldiers

Chisinau, 29 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- A team of medical instructors from the National Guard of North Carolina in the USA conducts with the servicemen on term and on contract of the 22nd peacekeeping battalion, the Blue Helmets, activites on providing first aid.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the theoretical and practical activities are organized on 26 September -8 October and aim to familiarize the peacekeepers with the new practices and instructions in the field, the procedures for providing first aid, evacuation with strict documentation.

The course in providing medical aid is part of the training plan of the National Army for 2022. Such trainings were also held in the past years in different units.

The cooperation between the US National Guard of North Carolina and the National Army of the Republic of Moldova began in 1996.
