Moldova Tourism 2022 Forum starts in Chisinau

Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - The second edition of the Moldova Tourism Forum is held in Chisinau. The event is organized by the Culture Ministry, along with the Invest Moldova Investments Agency, with the support of the strategic partner, Activity of Support of Competitiveness in the Light and Tourism Industries.

Attending the opening of the forum were Government Secretary General Dumitru Udrea and Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan.

The officials said the event represented a unique platform of promotion and recognition of actors from the tourism industry, which form a synergy fit for the primary goal of sustainable development of the tourism industry.

The first issue of Moldova Tourism Forum, held in Chisinau in May, last year, was a far-reaching event, with a result of 2.5 million postings on regional markets from Romania and Ukraine, which managed to attract over 400 participants from 30 countries. The event was broadcast through four platforms, getting a number of 107,000 visualizations, which enhanced Moldova’s visibility as tourist destination, connecting, at the same time, the actors of industry.
