Social workers, parental assistants to get higher salaries

Chisinau, 30 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Parliament voted today in the second reading to increase wages for community social workers and professional parental assistants with technical studies. The increased salaries will be calculated for September.

Following the amendments to the legislation, support teaching staff, medical staff within penitentiary institutions, some categories of specialized staff in judicial expertise, lelgal training, legal assistance guaranteed by the state will get higher wages.

At the same time, in the context of granting the Republic of Moldova the status of a candidate country for accession to the European Union, an additional salary increase will be established for the achievement of the priority tasks of the country's accession to the EU.
