Chisinau, Oct. 10 /MOLDPRES/- The cadastral data on the land assets in 42 territorial-administrative units in Cahul, Cantemir and Leova districts will be updated, and the public properties - delimited, the Public Services Agency (ASP) announced today.
As part of the project, the work is to be carried out to correct the errors committed in the process of assigning ownership of land, including the completion of graphic data where it is missing, primary registration of privately owned land that has not yet been included in the Cadastre and delimitation of public properties, according to the cited source.
"As a result, land owners in these localities, who have not registered their property rights in the real estate register, will benefit from free property titles, and local public authorities will be able to manage their endowed lands more efficiently", the ASP said.
The cadastral measurements take place within the land registration and evaluation project, financed by the International Development Association and implemented by the Public Services Agency.
